	2010-2011 TUITION AND FEES
	The afterschool program is divided into two semesters for purposes of registration and payment. Tuition is based on the number of days per week your child attends the afterschool. Please consult the chart below for detailed information about tuition and fees. In addition to our Basic Program - KidzKlub (Grades K-1) and Rec & Sports (Grades 2-5) - we offer a number of special classes.  Only students who are enrolled in the Basic Program are eligible to register for and attend these classes.  If you would like your child to attend a particular class, s/he must be enrolled in the Basic Program on the day that class is offered. For students receiving Free/Reduced school lunch, PS 3'til 6 offers a special discounted rate. If you receive or plan to receive Free/Reduced lunch, please fill out the Lunch Form provided by the School, and have the information verified by the PS 3 Administration in the main office.

	PAYMENT SCHEDULE & POLICIES
	Tuition and fees for each semester are due at registration. When you register your child, you can pay in full or choose the two-payment option, i.e., 50% at registration and a second 50% payment mid-semester. Everyone is encouraged to register and pay online. Major credit cards and e-checks are accepted. We also accept personal checks and money orders -- if you register in the office in person. We do NOT accept cash, except as payment for late pick-up fees. There is a $35 dollar fee for returned checks. Please note that checks returned by the Bank for Insufficient Funds are not re-deposited. If a check is returned, all future payments must be made by money order. DELINQUENT ACCOUNT & PROGRAM SUSPENSION Our program is entirely self-funded and could not function without timely payments from all of its users. Therefore we have a VERY STRICT payment policy. If an account becomes delinquent for lack of payment, or because a check failed to clear, the afterschool administration will notify the account holder immediately.  Failure to meet scheduled payments will result in the suspension of afterschool services for your child and services will only be restored if and when payment is received and successfully processed.  This policy is STRICLTY ENFORCED!

	ENROLLMENT OPTIONS
	REGULAR USER Anyone registered in the Basic Program for at least one weekday during the semester. Regular Users are allowed to register for and attend special classes. SPECIAL CLASSES Only Regular Users are eligible to register for special classes. If you would like your child to attend a particular class, s/he must be enrolled in the basic program on the day that class is offered. OCCASIONAL DAY USER (DROP-IN SERVICE) Drop-In service for an Occasional Day is available to all PS 3 students, including those who do not attend the afterschool program on a regular basis. They can use the program on an 'as-needed' 'per-day' basis throughout the year. But slots are limited so advance registration and payment are required. The daily tuition for this service is 20.00. You may register online for an Occasional Day (link available on the home page) any time before 3pm the day service is desired.  But slots are limited so families are encouraged to register for this service as soon as they know which day(s) they will need childcare. Occasional Users do NOT attend special classes – they attend only Kidz Klub (grades K-1) or Rec & Sports (grades 2-5). HALF-DAYS (Afterschool Open From 12noon to 6pm) Half-Days are days when the school dismisses at 12noon and the afterschool program functions from 12 – 6pm. This means the afterschool program offers 3 extra hours in addition to its regular schedule. Everyone interested in using the extended hours on half-days, must pre-register and pay in advance. Registration announcements are sent to all PS 3 parents a few days in advance using the school's regular communication channels (Terry's Note, Class Parents' email, website, etc).

	TUITION FEE FOR SPECIAL CLASSES  (Open to Regular Users Only) The Fee for Special Classes varies between 75.00 and 125.00 per semester, depending on specialty and cost of equipment and materials.
	HALF-DAY FEES (Afterschool program functions from 12 - 6pm)
	Child regularly attends that weekday $10.00 for the three extra hours Child does not attend that weekday $30.00 for the extended day
