S P E C I A L E V E N T S A T P S 3 DIRECT DRIVE Our most important fundraiser, the Direct Drive accounts for at least a quarter of the total budget. Giving supports all PS 3 children and shows your commitment to our exceptional curriculum. For those with heavy schedules and little time, this is a great way to make a meaningful contribution. Donations range from $10 to $3,000. No amount is too small or too large. Our goal is 100% participation. CLASS FUNDS - September This initiative raises funds for specific needs within each classroom. Class Parent(s) usually contact families requesting donations (usually $10 ‐ 20). Each teacher uses their class fund for supplies needed throughout the year. Another request for additional funds may be sent, though needs vary class by class. BREAKFAST WITH LISA The Class Parent Committee sponsors regular meetings with principal Lisa Siegman. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 30 at 8:30am, RM 310A ![]() ![]() PARENT TEACHER POTLUCK PS 3 is a bustle of activity inside the classroom and out. The Fall Festival is truly an all-community event which requires over one hundred volunteers to make the day happen. BOOK FAIR–November This book fair coincides with parent‐teacher conferences, and is fun for everyone. Kids love choosing their favorite books and browsing through the eclectic selections.
