Looking for something fun to do after the homework is done? Here's a list of activities, for when you want to get out and explore or you're just hanging out at home.


Enjoy a fun time at the movies and help PS3
New York International Children’s Film Festival continues their monthly presentations of fantastically entertaining and alternative cinema.  And, best of all, NYICFF donates money to our PTA for each and every ticket you purchase!

To buy tickets:

    * Click on the “In Theaters” tab
    * Select our school from the “Select My School” menu.
    * The PTA earns $3 for each ticket you purchase!

Summer Programs for Kids

Center for Architecture Foundation
Summer studios run Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place in Greenwich Village. Each fun-filled week explores a different topic in architecture and design through art & building activities, walking tours, and special site visits.  Tuition is $400/week; some scholarships are available. Salon Enfants
Salon Enfants is a summer program designed for ages 6-15 taught by artist educators.  Weekly sessions will be structured around a particular theme that will be explored through art making, round table discussions, the written word, along with visits to related exhibitions at galleries, museums and other venues of cultural and thematic relevance.  Each week's work will culminate in a presentation or performance.  Weekly themes include sculpture, puppetry, sewing, drawing, storytelling, architecture and 2d + 3d art projects in paint, wood and fabric.

Bowling for Kids

Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in the first ever "Kids Bowl Free" program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Children are eligible to register for 2 free games a day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations.
