Thanks to everyone who help out at the Greenwich Village Antiquarian Book Fair. As usual, it was a great success.

And very special thanks to Louis CK for donating the proceeds from his performance at Caroline's. It was a great night out of hilarious comedy, and resulted in a generous contribution to our kid's education. A fundraiser can't get any better than that.

Here's an overview of what's on the horizon for fundraising:
  • There will be another 50/50 raffle at the next PTA meeting, 3/10. What is a 50/50 raffle you might ask?

    Print your name on as many $5 bills as you want to contribute and put them in the pot.  We'll draw one of the bills and the person who contributed that bill receives half the pot.  The other half goes towards funding future PS3 programs sponsored by the PTA. Recipient must be present to win.

  • Planning for the Silent Auction is also underway and donations/volunteers are needed. Please sign up for shift on the board in the lobby or contact Nancy: rosen252@nyc.rr.com
  • The offsite Zinc Bar fundraiser has been shifted to a date after the Silent Auction, most likely in April -- more details to come.
  • The Spring Festival near the end of the year needs volunteers. If interested please contact Kate / schruggy@aol.com or Kim / 917-318-0902 / Bkim7@aol.com


Children's Film Festival
All New York Independent Children's Film Festival fall and winter film screenings are available as a hassle-free fund raiser for New York area public and independent schools. It is super easy!

  • Go to www.gkids.com
  • Click on "Tickets" tab
  • Select our school from dropdown menu at top of page (very important!)
  • Our school PTA receives $3-$5 for every ticket you purchase
